Transformative Learning and Self-Growth

Transformative learning is a process in which an individual undergoes a significant shift in their beliefs, perspectives, or understanding of themselves and the world around them. It involves a deep and meaningful change in the way a person thinks, feels, and acts, often leading to a fundamental shift in their worldview and behavior.
Transformative learning often involves the questioning of assumptions, beliefs, and values that have been deeply ingrained in a person's life. It can be triggered by a range of experiences, such as exposure to new information, shift in view of one's personal history and the self, encounters with people from different backgrounds, or significant life events.
Transformative learning is often seen as a way to promote internal growth, social justice, and positive social change. It is grounded in the idea that individuals can become agents of change by transforming their own ways of thinking and being.
